Our lab studies immune dysfunction within the female gynecological disease of endometriosis. My specific project is looking at the relationship between a protein called interleukin 33, or IL-33, and a type of immune cell known as group 2 innate lymphoid cells, and how their contributing to disease severity and symptomology.
